The awards show featured performances by Rihanna, Usher, Santana, Pink, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kid Rock, Katy Perry, Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera, Train, Ke$ha, New Kinds on the Block and the Backstreet Boys, and more.

The Artist of the Year Award went to Justin Bieber.
